In line with the revised Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) performance standards which came into force on 1 July 2014, JRC welcomes to fourth generation VDR model, the JCY-1900. Having been involved in VDR development from the very beginning in 2001, this latest revision in the performance standards has allowed JRC to re-think, develop and design its latest model with the standard attention to detail for performance, reliability and long term competitive cost of ownership.

Danelec Marine VDR range

The Danelec Marine VDR range is Wheelmark approved by BSH / DNV GL and our VDR meets the the latest IMO performance standards and technical requirements as defined in MSC.333(90) and IEC 61996-1 Ed.2, taking effect as of 1 July 2014. The Danelec Marine VDR range consist of the new DM100 VDR, compliant with the latest VDR performance standards, as well as the DM200 S-VDR and DM200 L-VDR, ensuring that there is a product to suit every need. There are three solutions in this product family:

It offers an effective and dependable system for retrieval of data in the event of an incident at sea.The VR2272B captures all mandatory information and stores it in an approved final recording media, the data storage capsule.Data capture is fully automated and requires no action from the ship’s crew.Following an incident, a minimum of 12 hours historic playback data is recovered by downloading the information from the capsule onto a laptop computer or other storage device.
